Greensboro, North Carolina shooting at East Gate City Blvd and Murrow Blvd: 2 injured
The Bladen County Sheriff's Office is investigating the apparent homicide of a man in Clarkton. The sheriff's office said that it was alerted to an unknown situation occurring at 84 Ida's Lane at approximately 5:30 p.m. Deputies arriving at the scene found Charles Leon Leach, 60, deceased in the residence.
A Greenville man is behind bars on about a dozen charges after police say he stole a car and a glock 9mm handgun. Jamar Savage, 26, is being held at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $930,000 bond.
Charlotte: Police searching for a black sedan that hit this CMS school bus and left the scene. Bus is now pulled over off of Nations Ford Rd near Red Roof Dr. 7 children and driver still on board. No injuries reported

Greenville, North Carolina shooting at 5961 US 264: 1 injured
A Winston-Salem man has died from his injuries he suffered in a weekend crash. Police say Robert Shumate was traveling Sunday, north on Peters Creek Parkway in a Ford Ranger. Shumate turned left toward the parking lot of Bojangles. A Ford Fusion, driven by an 18-year-old man, was traveling south on Peters Creek Parkway before colliding with Shumate.
Shots were fired Tuesday morning at Carlisle's Pub in Winston-Salem. Police say they got a call around 2:15 a.m. after pub patrons got into a fight in the parking lot. A male suspect retrieved a gun from his car and fired into the air
A man died in a west Charlotte shooting Sunday night, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. CMPD officials said police responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon just before 9:30 p.m. on Roadway Street near Bradford Drive. Upon arrival, officers said they found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound.

A court appearance is scheduled for Monday for Earl Kimrey. Kimrey is the man accused of concealing the death of his girlfriend's daughter.
Charlotte: Police are conducting a homicide investigation in west Charlotte Sunday night. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the incident happened on Roadway Drive near Bradford Drive.
An Asheboro man is accused of shooting and killing his son, according to the Randolph Co. Sheriff's Office. Deputies were called to a home on Old Cedar Falls Road on Friday.

The Lewes Police Department is currently investigating a domestic-related shooting in which a man was shot by his father Friday. According to a department release, Lewes police were dispatched to a Breakwater Street residence at about 6:58 p.m. following a 911 call. A man informed dispatchers he had just shot his son following an argument.

3-year-old Mariah Woods presumed dead in North Carolina Amber Alert case; man arrested
Hendersonville: A police officer was involved in a shooting at a Walmart store. Dispatch says 9-1-1 received a call about a drug complaint at the Walmart Supercenter on Highlands Square Drive just after 10 p.m. Thursday. A Hendersonville police officer responded to the complaint and fired shots, according to dispatch.
Concord: police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday afternoon near an elementary school. Officials with the Concord Police Department said it happened at Sarah's Pet Spa on Winecoff School Road between Shady Lane Avenue and Orphanage Road.
Greensboro: Police are investigating after two people died in a shooting in Greensboro late Thursday night, according to a press release. At 11:16 p.m., officers went to the 1200 block of Woodbriar Avenue in reference to two people found injured. Arriving officers discovered the two victims had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.
Burlington Police are investigating a shooting that could be connected to road rage. Police said on Thursday, a woman in a car was shot while in the area of North Fisher Street and West Webb Avenue in Burlington.
A man was arrested hours after a woman was shot during a possible road rage incident. Burlington police say a woman in the passenger seat of a Chevy Impala was shot in the head near the intersection of North Fisher Street and West Webb Avenue just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

Concord, North Carolina shooting at Winecoff School Road: 1 killed
A search warrant executed at a home in Lumberton has led to the seizure of 747 grams of marijuana and $14,590 in U.S. currency, according to a Lumberton Police Department press release
A woman was killed in a fire in Burke County Wednesday afternoon, according to officials. The fire broke out just before 3:30 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Summers and Windy Hill Roads. The fire marshal said it appears the woman was burning leaves near the garage of the home when the flames traveled to the building.
Police are investigating after a person was fatally shot near Schooner Drive and Torrence Chapel Road in Cornelius, a source said. Cornelius police said they are investigating a death in the Rockridge Shores Community but that there is no threat to the surrounding area.
Fayetteville: A 19-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of a woman found inside a Fayetteville hotel earlier this week. Authorities said Alyssa Mota, 23, of the 2100 block of Lakeridge Drive, was found unresponsive by an acquaintance inside a room at the Comfort Inn at 1922 Skibo Road on Monday night.
