Police in Salisbury are investigating an officer-involved shooting where multiple people were injured following an armed bank robbery and police chase Thursday afternoon. According to Salisbury Police, officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 800 block of West Jake Alexander Boulevard just after 5 p.m.
Two students were injured after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street to get on a school bus in south Charlotte Thursday morning.

Winston-Salem: police say a woman's activity in 2013 is now part of a homicide investigation after her death in December of 2016. In February of 2013, then 41-year old Anita Tuit shared an apartment with a roommate at 222-33 Motor Road, police say. According to police, approximately 6:30 p.m. on February 22, 2013, Tuit's roommate left the apartment so that Tuit could entertain a guest. The identity of the guest was unknown to the roommate.
Burlington: police are investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday evening in East Burlington. A man was found dead in the back seat of a car parked in the middle of Vance Street between North Church Street and North Fisher Street.

Greensboro: A police standoff ended Tuesday morning around 9:10 on the 3100 block of Winchester Drive in Greensboro according to Greensboro police.
Greenville: Police are investigating a shooting on Pearl Drive. According to GPD, it happened just after 8 on Monday night. One person was shot. He was transferred to Vidant Medical in Greenville with non-life threatening injuries. No word yet on a suspect.
Burlington: A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday night in connection with a shooting in Burlington, according to a press release. Burlington officers went to the 600 block of North Main Street around 8:05 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned a house and vehicle had been hit by gunfire.

Salisbury: The man who was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Taco Bell in Salisbury was identified Monday morning. Salisbury police said 30-year-old Deshawn Patrick Clark was killed in a shooting that happened just before 9 p.m. in a parking lot on East Innes Street Friday night. Clark reportedly ran from the scene into the FT Tobacco Company located at 618 East Innes Street and collapsed, officials say.
Lexington: Police say a woman died after shots were fired from outside of her home in Lexington early Saturday morning. Police responded to the shooting around 2 a.m. on Bruce Street. Officers found Labrina Shanoya Daves, 41, with a gunshot wound to her upper body. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
