Wilmington, North Carolina shooting at N 30th St: 2 injured
Two people were injured in a reported shooting early Tuesday morning in the area of 1111 N 30th St. in Wilmington. Police on the scene said that two people - a man and a woman - were injured and taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
One person was robbed and shot Saturday night in east Charlotte, officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said. Officials said the incident happened around 8:12 p.m. in the 3700 block of E W.T. Harris Boulevard near Mosscroft Lane. Officials said the victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old man died in an early morning house fire off Rock Barn Road in Catawba County, according to officials. Investigators said that the mobile home fire was accidental, and is believed to have started in the kitchen area

Minor injuries are reported after a single car crash in east Charlotte early Sunday morning. The car crashed into a tree in the 2700 block of Eastway Drive. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say alcohol was a contributing factor in this case. It is not known if charges will be filed. No further information has been released.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say a 6-year-old boy who was playing outside was attacked by a dog in northwest Charlotte Saturday evening. CMPD responded to a call from a residence on Anastasia Court around 4:30 p.m. The boy was attacked by a dog that had broken loose from its collar while it was being walked, CMPD said.
Winston-Salem police say they are looking for the person responsible for robbing the Tobacco and Vapes store on West Clemmonsville Road Friday night. Officers said a person went inside the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk opened the register, the robber took the money and ran out of the store without hurting the clerk.
One person was pronounced dead after a fatal three-car crash near south Charlotte. The wreck happened at the intersection of Clanton Road and South Boulevard around 11:50 p.m. Friday night. Both roads were shut down in both directions as officials worked to clear the scene.
Police in North Carolina have found the body of a man dead of a gunshot wound inside a car involved in a traffic crash. Winston-Salem police said in a news release that 29-year-old James Anthony Davis Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene on Friday
One lane of Interstate 26 is closed following a collision involving two tanker trucks, according to dispatch. They said the accident happened just after 10 p.m. Friday near mile maker 62. At last check the right lane of I-26 near Exit 59 will be closed until 7 a.m. Saturday, according to NC Department of Transportation.

A man who was killed in a crash involving two pickup trucks in Gaston County Tuesday morning has been identified. According to Gaston County Communications, the wreck happened on Dallas Cherryville Highway at Mauney Road near Prices Arena in Bessemer City. The wreck happened around 6:30 a.m., according to North Carolina Highway Patrol.
A man is in the hospital after Elizabeth City police say he was shot in the back. Police say they were called just before 8 p.m. Monday for a shooting. It was discovered that some had driven their 27-year-old friend to Sentara Albemarle Hospital. Police say the man was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for more treatment.
