The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened in west Charlotte.
A Winston-Salem man was taken to a local hospital Monday after police said he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Swat members and an officers with tactical gear just showed up to the scene. Officers not providing details at this moment. They say there are a lot of moving parts in the early stages of this investigation.
