There is an outside fire on Maple Springs Dr. in the Jonathan Creek area. Crews from Jonathan Creek Fire Dept, Forest Service and other agencies are on scene. Some homes have been evacuated as a precaution.

On Saturday shortly before 3:00 p.m. officers responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon in the 4300 block of Sunset Road. When they arrived, they found a ten-year-old girl shot. She was transported to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries
